Originally from Europe and Asia, the carps are a large number of freshwater fish species, though in colloquial use, carp usually refers only to several larger cyprinid species such as Cyprinus carpio (common carp), Carassius carassius (Crucian carp), Ctenopharyngodon idella (grass carp), Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (silver carp), and Hypophthalmichthys nobilis (bighead carp).   • 2 onions

Pasta Puttanesca is an Italian dish popular for its savory and delectable flavor. it is made from a variety of ingredients which includes black olives, pepper, olive oil, tomatoes, garlic and anchovy.

The name “Puttanesca” comes from an Italian term which means prostitute or whore. According to culinary historians, this term was given to the dish because of its spicy and hot flavor.
