If you think barbecuing ribs is hard, read this article. I have eaten barbecue in half of the 50 United States and I’ve been cooking it for over 20 years. My grandfather first introduced me to barbecuing when I was just a kid. Some people call cooking meat on a grill “barbecuing”, some call it “smoking” meat, and some people just call it “grilling” meat. Believe it or not, these terms aren’t really interchangeable. They are all different methods of preparing what is generally known as “barbecue” and cooking GOOD barbecue is NOT easy. (more…)

So many times we only think of turkey, chicken and pork when we want to prepare low cost and nourishing meals, but if we are honest, our bodies still desire the flavour that you only get with beef.
Many of us lack imagination when thinking of ways to prepare the beef, we usually think of the boring and well-known methods, meat loaf, hamburgers, meat balls, tacos and chilli.
But wait, have you ever thought about creating a salad with beef? There are a surprising number of wonderful recipes out there that you can do with beef.

Gaeng Kiew Wahn Nua – Beef in Green Curry
