Well, this has been a tough but interesting year for geaNostra, with many child illnesses that we’ve fortunately left behind. Today on October 20. 2009. geaNostra celebrates it’s first birthday. We hope it will celebrate many more growing to be better, more interesting and more inspiring every year, and to get many more friends.

Dust cloud over Sydney

sydney dust cloudThe inhabitants of Eastern Australia, Sydney amongst others, woke up to find themselves involved in an unexpected orange dust cloud caused by desert winds that complicated the daily activities.

The health department urged people to stay home as far as possible and predicted that the chaos will continue tomorrow.

I’m proud to announce the new geaTV v2.0, a completely redone and classified video playlists site. Until yesterday, geaTV was a single page, and now it’s a sub-site and the pioneer with the new visual identity of geaNostra. Also, in the meantime, a few dozens of new videos have been added. Six channels have been organized and added to geaTV: Classic cartoons, Music [Fiesta!, Calentito], Trailers and Tours.

Recession ends in France and Germany

After a year of recession, the French and German economies got their indexes positive. Though the growth is just 0.3% it may be the end of the crisis. Many Europeans received this news with joy, as these two giants might help pull out their neighbors from the crisis. New markets are opening for these countries industries, specially in the Far East.

Harry Potter in theaters 2 days early

Harry PotterThe sixth part of the Harry Potter Series, the “Half-Blooded prince” premiere is rescheduled for Wednesday, July 15, two days earlier than previously planned. Besides the standard Harry Potter’s adventures, there will also be romance in this one. Some might be shocked by the end (if you haven’t read the book, of course ;-) )
Harry Potter is played by Daniel Radcliffe, Hermione Granger by Emma Watson, Ron Weasley by Rupert Grint, and Ginny Weasley by Bonnie Wright.
