So, what’s the iPad?

You’ve probably heard about iPad a lot these days, and you’re probably wondering what is it. Someone might have even mixed it with the iPod. Well, it’s just one letter of difference, right? Wrong.

What is it about this new device that made experts, electronic devices geeks, institutional media, professional publications and blogs, speculate so much about it months before it officially existed?

Here’s a cool facebook trick

Facebook magic circles trick

I usually avoid trying thingies like this on facebook, thinking they’re a waste of time and not working, but for some reason I tried this one, and it works! It creates “magic circles” following your mouse pointer.

Press up arrow, up,down, down, left, right, left, right,b,a,enter key then right click. Then press up then down & magic circles will appear! :D

One small correction: I’ve got a comment for this on Digg and the guy says:

old. and that last “rightclick+up+down” is completely unnecessary.

Do you know other cool facebook tricks (that work)?

Man’s best friend

Whether it is or isn’t man’s best friend, the dog is certainly among the best and most faithful animals there are (competing with horses and dolphins ;-) ). Don’t know about you, but I’ve always preferred them to cats!

Below is a cute video showing a soldier returning from Afghanistan and the reaction of his canine friend. It’s almost as if the dog was crying of happiness, she almost went crazy! You’d probably never see a cat do something like that. ;-)

Joke: Hans Olaffsen’s Laundry in Chinatown

Walking through Chinatown, a tourist is fascinated with all the Chinese restaurants, shops, signs and banners. He turns a corner and sees a building with the sign, “Hans Olaffsen’s Laundry.”
“Hans Olaffsen?”, he muses. “How in hell does that fit in here?” So he walks into the shop and sees an old Chinese gentleman behind the counter.
